What it takes to Achieve Success in Helping Consumers Navigate the Challenges of the Digital Shift

There is no denying that the world of communications and business has changed a lot over the past decade. This has made it necessary for individuals and business who wish to stay ahead and afloat to learn, assimilate and become tech savvy. Robert Deignan, the CEO and co-founder of ATS Digital Services realised that there was a gap and decided to create a company which would address global concerns which arise from technology. The company helps a wide range of consumers with different problems from connectivity to troubleshooting and much more, but from a remote location.

Robert is a native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He attended Purdue on a football scholarship and got a degree in organisational leadership. He was in the management teams for companies like Miami Dolphins and New York Jets before he decided to start his first company, Franklin, Inc. Here are some of the insights that he shares about starting a business and offering remote assistance to clients.

When asked how he came up with the idea of a tech support company, he states that he worked with a company that created anti-malware solutions for their consumer. He noted that when they offered the consumers the software with a free trial, most would come back after the two-week trial and make a purchase. With time they realized that the people creating malware were making it impossible for consumers to install malware because they were creating programs which blocked the installation. They therefore decided to offer in-hose support. This made him realize that even though technology is accessible, not all consumers know how to navigate through installation.

He states that when he gets to work, the first thing he does is looking at the previous day and the amount of success that the company achieved. After the assessment, the day defines his activities depending on the support that their clients need. He tries to make time to go see his child’s baseball game. He concludes by adding that as one progresses in business, they learn about the things which work and those that don’t and therefore capitalize on the success.
