The Chainsmokers is a DJ and Hiphop oriented band whose music has shaped the foundations of future artistry everywhere. Alex Pall and Andrew Taggart have formed a team effort which forges through the music industry in many ways that permeate the system that is imbedded inside of the music industry. They have changed and modified the status quo that supposively used to define the arts of electronic dance music by making a lot of their styles progressive but in terms of mixing different genres together to the point a new genre is created which raises the bar for other aspiring artists to work towards if they want even a semblance of success that the Chainsmokers have achieved. They have always been about working hard in order to stay ahead of the game and their habits of duplicating this behavior is not going to change anytime soon. While other artists eventually give in to the comfort zone that says they did all that they could, the Chainsmokers push their limits and dive out of their comfort zones as much as possible to enter new areas of learning as musicians. Their music is so inspirational and motivational that the fans have even been driven to do crazy things in positive response to their hard work and dedication to making the highest quality audio out there according to their own satisfaction of the completed effort. One man even tattooed his arm with the lyrics of the Chainsmokers from one of their songs called Everybody Hates Me. They have also released other music like roses and have seen things on social media sites of people who are singing and humming their songs in jovial unison including mom’s and little kids as well. There really is no age limit for their target audience and as long as the listener redo ate E optionally with the artistic masterpieces they make up that is all that Alex Pall and Andrew Taggart want. Recently though they released a song by the name of Sick Boy and the crowds loved it. It basically is about the generational struggles society faces with using social media sites to talk to millions of people at a time. This can lead to an over dependence on grabbing peoples attention to the good sides of oneself with out being completely honest unlike long term close proximity relations which usually end up exposing the truth about the participating parties. The Chainsmokers address this serious issue with their song Sick Boy.
IN the world of Hollywood, the directors and the movie stars seem to get all the attention. However, one producer is known for bringing the vision of many top directors to the big screen. That producer, Lawrence Bender, has been bringing big name movies to the big screen, including a half-dozen from his longtime collaborator Quentin Tarantino.
While you may not be familiar with the name Lawrence Bender, you already know about the hip, crime writer-director Quentin Tarantino. Together, the two have created some of the most popular films of the 1990s and the 2000s. But there is perhaps no film more famous or infamous than the duo’s second collaboration, “Pulp Fiction.”
Mr. Bender met Mr. Tarantino at a mutual friend’s barbecue in 1990. At the time, both of them were struggling to make a name for themselves in Hollywood. As a producer with a couple of B-movie credits to his name, Mr. Bender had a little more juice in Hollywood than Mr. Tarantino. So when the young Tarantino pitched the young producer for a movie about a heist gone wrong, Mr. Bender pulled together his limited contacts to get the film made.
The result was “Reservoir Dogs,” which is considered one of the most impressive debuts of any rookie director. The success of the first film allowed the two to create the follow-up film, “Pulp Fiction.” Considered by some to be the greatest crime film ever producer, the film went on to gross over $100 million dollars and earn Lawrence Bender an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture.
While many give Quentin Tarantino all the credit for “Pulp Fiction,” the film would not have come together if it weren’t for the hard work of Lawrence Bender. Mr. Bender was tasked with just an $8 million dollar budget to help put together a sprawling crime epic which intertwined three stories and featured a star-powered cast which included John Travolta, Samuel Jackson, Uma Thurman and Bruce Willis.
Born in the Bronx, Lawrence Bender has been producing films for three decades. Among some of the biggest films to Mr. Bender’s credit include, “Pulp Fiction,” “Inglourious Basterds,” and “Good Will Hunting.” Today, Lawrence Bender is considered one of the legendary producers whose films perform well in the box office as well as the award shows.
When it comes to Hollywood couples making big headlines the drama of Jolie and Pitt will forever come to mind. Children, scandal, and divorce are not the only things that this ending duo have in common. Each one has had an extensive acting career that does not appear to be ending soon. Out of this doomed couple only one has had the largest box office hits.
Angelina Jolie movies have had their share of wins in the award department. In the year 2007 Jolie took home the win for Nickelodeons Teen Choice Award for her performance in Mr & Mrs Smith, which is where she and Pitt became a thing as he played the leading male role. Her awards from this movie were for Choice Movie Actress in an action adventure and thriller movie, Choice Movie Liar, and Choice Movie Rumble, which she shared the honors of the award with Pitt. In 1999 Jolie won the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a TV Movie or Miniseries award for her role in Gia. In the year 2000 she won the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in her role in the movie Girl, Interrupted. Jolie also won an Oscar for her role in this big box office hit. From there her fame just kept growing. In total Jolie has taken home over 47 awards. Out of those 47 awards 6 were for the Golden Globe award.
Movies with Brad Pitt are no slouch when it comes to winning awards for his acting abilities. He has taken home over 62 awards of his own, which is plenty more than Ms. Jolie. This is not to say that she did not beat him in areas of importance. Mister Pitt has only ever taken home one Golden Globe award. This award was given for his performance in the movie Twelve Monkeys, not exactly a feel good movie, which hit the screen in 1995. Pitt also won one Oscar and this was for his role in the outstanding box office hit 12 Years a Slave, which was released in 2013.
